For nearly 30 years, LGBT Life Center has provided critical support to the HIV and LGBTQ communities in Hampton Roads by promoting the dignity and wellness of adults, families, youth, and children. Primary services include HIV medical case management, medication assistance, transportation services, food pantry assistance, permanent supportive housing, and HIV prevention through education and testing.
CAN Community Health has been serving the needs of the HIV community for over 26 years. They are a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, care and continual wellness of people living with HIV. Their clinics offer the finest medical, dental, psychological care and lifestyle counseling to all patients, regardless of their financial situation, insurance status or ability to pay.
SOUTHEASTERN TRANSGENDER RESOURCE CENTER
Based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, STRC is a non-profit community outreach center dedicated solely to the empowerment of today’s transgender community. Their mission is to inspire and provide resources to our Trans-identified community by creating a stigma free, safe environment while helping to stop violence against us throughout Hampton Roads. From connecting our trans community with housing, to providing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, to providing school supplies to trans families and youth, from the beginning they are committed to supporting the local trans commuinity in any way they can.
